Highland Officer's Basket-Hilted Broadsword (Donald Currie). Believed early 19th century.
With broad triple-fullered double-edged tapering blade signed on each side within the central fuller, iron hilt of rounded bars supporting fluted and incised shields each pierced with unique shapes, short scrolled wrist-guard, fluted domed pommel with prominent tang-button, and original rayskin-covered wire-bound grip.
