This UK lp pressing released on the yell...ow and black Parlophone Records lable. The rare STEREO original 1963 pressing, and one of the hardest to find in decent condition.
This is especially interesting for the "JOBETE" credit for 'MONEY', and "WANNA" lable (and cover) listing, which was altered for the subsequent pressings. Thus, only the very first run of pressings for this LP had these text mistakes.
Many of the copies got soon worn out on poor equipment, slid along carpets, drawn on, pinned to walls, and badly handled. Added to that, there are 40 Mono copies to every 1 STEREO one!
We're talking 'hen's teeth" here!
CONDITION;
The VINYL surface has a nice sheen and isn't 'dry' looking or scuffed. Side 1 is EXCELLENT.
There's a feelable scratch on 'Not A Second Time' into 'Money', and a couple of other marks on close inspection, so is VG+ overall due to this. A really tough issue to find in top shape - as I'm sure most searching must be only too aware, so this is not for the 'Mint' collector, but nice until an upgrade comes along!
LABLES are a nice EX, no tears, pen or stickers.
The LAMINATED flipback COVER is in VG condition, really bright and clean with NO writing. The top and bottom seams have been worn at the disc edges, and the top flap corner has been repaired.
The polythene lined 'Microgroove' white cover
is included in great condition.
