We are selling this as part of an estate that we are handling in New Mexico. This knife when opened measures 8 3/4 and closed measures 5 inches. Handles are made of horn and are in original used undamaged condition. There are some holes(pictured) at the top edge of one side but appear to be naturally occurring in the horn material. The handles are held in place with three steel pins with brass washers. Blade appears to have a stamped mark, but it is unread...able. Blade is tight and snaps when closing. I believe these were made in Mexico or New Mexico and I have seen them referred to as Navajas/Mexican fighting knives and Spanish Colonial knives. Thanks for bidding!
