Vintage 1890's Indigo Blue & White Checkerboard Antique Miniature Crib Quilt!This ELEGANT cotton 1880's/1890's indigo blue and white checkerboard crib quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a classic 1-patch/postage stamp design. It measures 36" X 45" and is in excellent condition, with age spotting in a couple of places and no wear. There is straight line quilting throughout at 8-9 stitches to the inch. The back is has t...wo different shirting fabrics symmetrically arranged, the hand stitched binding is indigo blue, and the batting is thin. NO SURPRISES with this late 19th century indigo blue and white CLASSIC ~ it would make a terrific wall hanging!
