This is an old Galvanized Metal Farm "Sanitary no 88" Chicken or PIglet Feeder by Nelson Products, Sioux Rapids Iowa.Approximately 12.5" tall, 8" wide x 8" deep at its deepest point at the base.The sliding plate that is inside still slides up and down, ( was for controlling amount of feed) and there are two open holes on the back that allow this to be wall mounted.. Wall mounting opens up so many different possibilities and uses for decor from a mail box t...o a wall vase, planter, succulents etc.The NO 88 Feeder is embossed on the front with a pig wearing a crown that reads #ONE. It seems to me that this has silver paint, , I'm not sure how this was originally sold, , , if it has a silver coating over the galvanized metal or if this was later, but the paint is old.There is plenty of patina, , rust in the trough, but overall a farm beauty that did its job for many year.quick shipnon-smokingthanks!
