Original Description:
Folks, Iisted is this rare penny metal mailbox complete with the penny holder inside!! Flag works along with flap. I used the pencil and paper rub to find out what the  embossed lettering reads. Says: APPROVED BY THE POSTMASTER GENERAL PAT'D 11-17-08. Great patina with two bullets holes, some dings about the size of bullet holes, very faint writing of owner, one dent in top, and normal wear. There are the normal holes in bottom where mailbox would have been mounted on wo...od. I wiped down but you may want to get it a thorough cleaning. Measures 19" long x 6.5" wide x 8.5" tall.
