Check out my E-Bay Store for High Grade Vintage Baseball Coins & Pins! 1963 SALADA JUNKET BASEBALL COINS. A much smaller set of baseball coins was issued by Salada/Junket in 1963. The 63 coins issued were called "All-Star" Baseball Coins and included most of the top players of the day. Unlike 1962, the coins were made of metal and measured a slightly larger 1-1/2 inch diameter. American League players have blue rims on their coins, while the National Leaguers are rimmed i...n red. Coins fronts contain no printing on the full color player photos, while backs list coin number, player name, team and position, along with brief statistics and the sponsors’ logos. These coins are similar to the Topps, Armour, Old London, Pins, Chips and Shirriff coins in the 1960’s but are much scarcer because they were issued in boxes of tea and pudding mix.
