I have survived my brain tumor and recovered from brain surgery, and am back after two years away from eBay! Doing what I love most, I am excited to have an opportunity to share the wealth! These dual bobbleheads were a Busch Stadium Giveaway on Friday, May 10th, before a game between the Saint Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates. This bobblehead commemorates Yadier Molina winning the 2018 Roberto Clemente Award, given annually to the Major League Baseball player who has b...est exhibited sportsmanship through personal contributions to community involvement, as voted upon by fans and media after each team nominates one player for consideration for the honor. Other Saint Louis Cardinals to have won the Roberto Clemente Award include Lou Brock (1975), Ozzie Smith (1995), Albert Pujols (2008), and Carlos Beltran (2013). Only 50 players have won this award since it was created in 1971 (renamed for Clemente in 1973 after he died in a plane crash while trying to personally deliver supplies to survivors of the Nicaraguan Earthquake), and no player has won it twice. Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco just won the 2019 award. Since both Molina and Clemente hailed from Puerto Rico, this bobblehead features Yadier Molina holding a Puerto Rico flag! These bobbleheads were issued in clam shells, and the two biggest problems were broken ankles and missing Puerto Rico flags. Any bobbleheads you order will be opened and checked for these two flaws before being shipped out, so your bobblehead will arrive with the flag, and will leave here NOT BROKEN :-) Shipping will be FREE! I work very hard to ship within 1 business day of receiving payment, and will often ship the same day payment is received, Monday through Friday. However, life happens, which is why I put 2 days on the handling time for just in case. Please note all of these bobbleheads will ship out via priority mail through the United States Postal Service, so tracking and some insurance will be added, also for FREE!
