Up for auction is a beautiful Roman Helmet Cable Top porcelain insulator manufactured by the R. THOMAS & SONS COMPANY of Ohio. This really nice insulator is impossible for me to narrow it down to a single color. Brown or Reddish Brown with hints of white and other molten colors. This is a nice Roman Helmet porcelain with a few minor scratches from being in use, as well as a tiny chip along the base.
The photos were tak...en outside in natural light without direct sun light to better judge the actual color. You may see the colors differently than I do. As for mentioning all of the minor flaws, I feel it is only honest to point out all flaws even those that may not seem significant Bids on this beautiful insulator will start at $1.00 and will ship in a USPS Priority Flat Rate Medium Box with a shipping cost of $14.50 (new postal rate as of 1-27-2019). If you feel that the shipping costs are too high please do not bid. Postal prices are what they are and Priority Mail is the best and fastest way to get a package sent in a fast way.
