A beautiful Rose Tree applique quilt!c 1880-90sFabrics included solid turkey red, printed green and red pink in the flowers. I do love this pattern and a little variation makes it all the more special!Measures 88 x 72 inchesHand quilted at 9 stitches per inchEdges are turned and hand sewn. Batting is thin. Applique hand sewn.Embroidery work is hand sewn. Background a creamy color.Crisp, never used or washed.Has some age spotting tanning. A stunning quilt to add to your collection ...or gift.Very festive!Just found this one from a Pennsylvania estate.
