10 Medieval Aged Nagaland Indian Glass Trade Beads 1100 - 1600 Antique Rusty Red

Up for auction are these awesome old beads!! They are made of an rusty red/brown tinted glass. It almost looks like the rust colored portion is layered over a white portion of glass. They are not uniform, and have small discrepancies. I bought them from an international seller when I got interested in bead collector a little while back. He told me that they are from Nagaland, which is a providence in east India to my understanding. There was not much more info with them. They were like...ly used as trade beads. After some research, I came to estimate them to be dated 1100-1600’s. This seems to be when people in the region were experimenting with small glass pieces like this. These are well made, so it may be the middle to late portion of that gap. Please note that this date range is only an estimate, they may be from a date outside of this range. They are incredible collectible pieces!
