Victorian Marble Top Fern Stand with Carved Dogs and Fox c. 1880'sThis solid walnut Victorian fern stand has a nice brown marble top with carved tree on the center depicting two hunting dogs addressing a fox carved into the trunk of the tree. All hand-carved and very beautifully done by a skilled artist.

The base has applied solid walnut pieces with turned spindle work, hand-incising and gold leafing.

Excellent condition with no missing sections. The o...riginal brass chain around the border is still present.

DIMENSIONS: 36" tall x 17" from foot to foot. Marble top measures 11" diameter
