DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
This is an antique camera shutter and lens assembly. The body reads ILEX Optical Co, Rochester NY USA No 3 Universal. The body is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The front lensfreads ILEX Optical Co Rochester NY Paragon Anastigmat f:4.5 5 1/2 inch No 5303. The back lens is not marked. They need cleaning. The shutter works on T. B snaps like a speed setting. The low settings stay open. So, it needs work. It is good cosmetic condition - may be able to be restored, or provide some good replacement parts.
