1944 Vintage Photo by ACME Allied and Italian Engineers work to restore the ripped-up railroad tracks in southern Italy during World War 2 so that they can carry material to the new fighting front lines up north. Roads were destroyed by "scorched earth" policy of the Germans, and by Allied air raid bombing and shelling.Photo measures approximately 8.75 X 7 inches.Part number: AAA13536THERE ARE A FEW MINOR CREASE MARKINGS.ALL items are more ...than likely going to have condition wear (small creases, corner wear, etc...) due to age and touching. These photos were meant to be handled and were by the newspapers and other media outlets before we purchased them.
THERE ARE SMALL SMUDGES THAT SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE REMOVED.SOMETIMES THE MARKINGS ON THE BACK CAN BE SEEN THROUGH ON THE FRONT.IT JUST DEPENDS ON THE THICKNESS OF THE PHOTO.
