GordonWilliam Lillie (February 14, 1860 – February 3, 1942), known professionally asPawnee Bill, was an American showman and performer who specialized in Wild Westshows. Pawnee Bill was born on February 14, 1860, in Bloomington, Illinois. In 1883, he was given thechance to work as the Pawnee interpreter with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.His work wit...h the show was the origin of his nickname as "PawneeBill."[2] In 1888, the Lillies launched their own Wild West show, whichthey called "Pawnee Bill’s Historic Wild West". CapGun made of Cast Iron and is very heavy. Grips have Horse head on one side andCowboy with crossed pistols on the other side. Nickle finish in great conditionon cap gun. Gun measures 7.25 inches long and weights almost a pound in weight.This cap gun is in very nice condition for its age. It has been put away for manyyears and now out for sale.
