Offered for your consideration is an Acoustic Research model 1-210118-0A 19mm (¾ inch) titanium dome, liquid cooled dome tweeter removed from my TSW 210 B speakers manufactured c.1991. This model tweeter was also used in other TSW-series speakers from the era, but you are responsible for determining its suitability for your intended application. So, please have a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this capable high frequen...cy driver is suitable for your needs. Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical AR tweeters are available. Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This AR tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. The dome is in perfect shape having been well-protected underneath the acoustically transparent grate. And, there are no cracks on the thick plastic faceplate or any oxidation on the magnet cover. Plus, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity (red-marked side is positive) and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, it’s an exceptionally well preserved high frequency driver. Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds perfect—very strong and clear. Plus, I tested the DC resistance at 5.6Ω, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 5⅛” at widest x 3 3/16” top-to-bottom, it stands around 1” high, and the mounting holes are spaced 4½” long way at bottom / 3” long way at top / 2 1/16” top-to-bottom, both sides apart, c-t-c. So, if you have a blown or damaged tweeter in your suitable TSW model, you’ve found the right listing—your speakers will be sounding their finest once again!
