HELLO .... thanks for looking . PLEASE NOTE ............ this item is selling AS-IS ....... i will describe it to the best of my ability , but nearly every item i sell is from 50 to 100 years old and will show some sign of wear.. THIS LISTING ........ my old Jaquard coverlet is not signed or dated as many are ........ i got this one at an estate auction in Indiana ....... so it might be local . the colors are ....red , white , blue , and gold . this bed cover measures about ....... 88 inches ... by 80 inches not counting the fringe ....... there is wear to the fringe as well as one small spot ( not a hole ) but w place the size of a nickel that has lost the blue color ...... there is a photo of this ..... also a photo of the back side as well ....... and while i am at it , there are a couple of very light tea stains on this one ..... so you may want to clean it all in all this is a nice example of an American Jacquard tapestry ....... almost all of these date to before the Civil war and make wonderful wall hangings as well as bed or couch covers ....... you decide ....... a country or western look ..... or even in your log cabin ....... some sense of history in this example a wonderful design ........ thanks for taking the time to look . . . we USUALLY have around 500 antique , odd , unusual & collectible items listed in our.....
