"NO RESERVE AUCTION" A RARE and very hard to find collector set of 6 different Ed Big Daddy Roth Kustom Kulture Full Color and original unused photos. Classic full pictures of: "THE SURFITE" built by Ed Big Daddy Roth and Dirty Doug and designed by Ed Newton and Ed Roth. "CALIFORNIA CRUISER" built by Big Daddy Roth, this V-8 Powered creation had a Top Speed of 140 MPH. "THE DRUID PRINCESS" built by Roth in 1963. Dodge Powered. Built out of Fiberglas and assorted scraps... from old car parts. Chrome plating cost $1200. "ROAD AGENT" built by Roth. Corvair Powered. This chrome beauty cost $1500 to build and a years construction time. "BEATNIK BANDIT" built by Big Daddy Roth. Built from fiberglas with a 360 degree vision plexiglas canopy. Painted by "Dirty Doug, " Roth's Painter and Co-Designer. The central chrome "Stick" controls the car's brakes, steering, gas, and shifting. Goodyear Tires are mounted on Cragar rims to give the car additional stability. "MAIL BOX" built by Roth. These full color photos are printed on heavy card stock, are unsold leftovers form our Gift Store at Movieworld Cars of the Stars Museum in Buena Park, California when it was open to the public back in the 1970s. Both the famous pinstriper and flamer Von Dutch as well as Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (originator of the Rat Fink art, cartoon and comic artist) worked there for many years. The legendary Ed "Big Daddy" Roth is the artist who started in the early 1960's creating a new Kustom Kulture with his images of Rat Fink, hot rods, drag racing, motorcycles, surfing, skull and cross bones, iron crosses, psychadelic, Vietnam armed forces, cartoon characters and other comic book art. Many of his illustrations and art were turned into model hobby kits sold by Revell. He was big buddies with Von Dutch, George Barris, Robert Williams and the rest of those crazy cats from the beatnik days of the 1960's. They are in real nice original 4"x6" and 3 1/2"x5 1/2" excellent condition and are just about impossible to find. Backs have even more detailed descriptions than provided here!
