Asmall and rare original photograph of I-AABF, a Savoia Marchetti S-55 flying boat of SAM – Societa Aerea Mediterranea - one ofItaly’s earliest internal airlines, where it was being used on theRome-Cagliari route.Thephotograph is approximately 6½ x 5 inches (165 x 125 mm) and is inFine condition. It is embossed in the lower right hand corner withthe name of the photographer, Marini of Milan.Onthe reverse is the undated stamp of the photographer
