Up for sale is a Vintage handheld metal vanity mirror with gold trim around the beveled mirror. The gold trim that is around the glass mirror is in very good condition. Not sure how many karats the trim is, it cleaned up very nicely. I’m guessing here, but I think that the handle is made of silver. it’s very heavy and a magnet doesn’t stick to it, and along when I cleaned it, It was leaving black residue on the cleaning cloth. It also cleaned up very nicely despite being tarnishe...d a bit. The handle has a nice design to it, and does contain some scratches and nicks. Please view the photos of these bad spots. The mirror has beveled edges, and has no chips or cracks. There are some very minor tiny scratches and nicks on the mirror, and has some clouding on it. Please see the photos for the bad spots. The back of the mirror is metal with a plastic like coating over it, and has a yellow/ lite gold color spider web like pattern. There are some tarnish spots that seem to be between the hard plastic and the metal. Please see the photos of these spots. There is also a badge on the back that is gold trimmed and a floral design to it, and has silver trim pattern around it. The badge is a bit loose, but doesn’t ready to fall off, like it’s possibly attached to the plastic underneath it. So there you go, the good with the bad. Overall, this vintage vanity mirror is in Good to Very Good Condition, especially considering its age. Please contact me with any questions.
