For sale a couple of very scarce pieces of Wayne Gretzky memorabilia. Edmonton Oilers Game program dated January 26th, 1979 vs the Cincinnati Stingers of the old WHA World Hockey Association. Oilers last year in the league before becoming part of the NHL the next season. Wayne Gretzky joined the team earlier in the season as a 17 year old youngster from the Indianapolis Racers and on this night they celebrate his 18th Birthday. Gretzky signs a big multi year contract with the Oilers at... center ice. To celebrate Gretzky is featured on the cover of the program and a small 4x6 black and white photo is inserted into the programs. These programs don't come up for auction very often and even scarcer for both items to come up together. See pictures for conditon
