Original Description:
This is a very nice primitive antique wood and cast iron coffee grinder. It also has the original black tin "catch" pan underneath in the door. This coffee grinder works very well and stands 13" high. It is 6 1/2" square at the base. The entire construction is very  sound. When you open the little wooden door, a metal plate connected to the door, pulls out the catch pan automatically. It is a neat design! It is in fantastic condition. I have had it for many years. I put tung oil o...n it about 5 years ago, to condition the wood. Please look it over. All of the cast iron is beautifully detailed. When I purchased it I was told it was from Germany.
