A VINTAGE BURGESS'S, 107 STRAND, CORNER OF THE SAVOY STEPS, LONDON, GENUINE ANCHOVY PASTE, ROYAL COAT OF ARMS APPOINTMENT POT LID POTLID & ORIGINAL BASE from the early 1900's period which has been found buried in a domestic rubbish tip recently in the Guildford area. The lid measures 8.5cm in diameter and the with the pot is 4.5cm high. The lid is in EXCELLENT CONDITION being clean, very white with no chips, cracks or hairlines, the highly detailed transfer is crisp and clear, the ...base or pot is a genuine Burgess base pot and is clean with two flakes on the base edge mainly underneath. There maybe one or two tiny marks which have been caused by prolonged burial of over 100 years. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save on postage and shipping costs.
