Original Pontiac "Chief of the Sixes" dual coin style radiator badge emblem insignia nameplate logo. The Pontiac was built by General Motors from 1926 to 2009 in Pontiac, MI. Online research indicates this was used in 1928 only but I do not know exact model or application for this example. 2 3/8" wide by 1 5/8" high, highly detailed stamped metal with a bronze finish, attached to a steel backing plate. Slightly curved top to bottom to mat...ch radiator shell. No makers mark visible. Very good used condition, no dents, bends or cracks, a few light scratches and edge nicks. The bronze finish is nice with light wear, the backing plate is intact but all mounting tabs are missing and there is a blob of solder on the back.
