Here's a very nice clean, classic style sash buckle dug in a Confederate cavalry picket post near White's Ford, on the upper Potomac River near Leesburg, Va. This one is actually cast brass, not stamped, like many others like it. It's in excellent all around, with a very nice shape and patina. A great item to add to your sash buckle or relic collection.
