Up for auction is this Beautiful Vintage Wade & Butcher Straight Razor that is 11/16" wide and made in Sheffield, England. The Blade is in Great Condition, has a Square Point, Near Wedge, and is Shave Ready. The blade is Etched with "WADE & BUTCHER'S HOLLOW GROUND RAZOR No.150" with the Circled B, Arrow, and the Maltese Cross with fancy designs on both sides of the etching - the etching is excellent. The blade has been cleaned and polished. The Factory Stamps of the... Brand Name Trade Mark Stamp on the Tang is Excellent. The scales are black bakelite that have been cleaned and polished. This is a beautiful vintage Wade & Butcher that is in great condition made by a famous cutlery manufacturer that has a rich history of producing high quality straight razors and knives. For the honing I use all Shapton Glass Water Stones in 1000, 4000, 8000, 16, 000, and finish on a 30, 000 grit. Due to time restrains I send some of my Straight Razors out to my friend and Honemeister named Chemel who prefers to use JNAT Stones. Chemel is an excellent Honemeister and specializes at honing Wedge Blade Sheffield and is excellent with hollow ground Straight Razors as well. I operate a full service SR Shop and can meet all of your SR needs. Do you want new scales I have many kinds of material to choose from and I will cut to your specifications.
