You arebidding on a small Santa Fe Railway booklet entitled The Legends and Lore of Turquoise. This fourteen-page publication was issued as a souvenir of The TurquoiseRoom, located in the Pleasure Dome Lounge Car of the Super Chief. The room was available for passengers to “loungeand enjoy cocktails” or to hold private dinner parties. This booklet not only provides legends andlore, but also provides information about turquoise in the Old and New World, turquoisejew...elry, the Santa Fe logo, and Zuni turquoise legends. Drawings illustrate the information. I don’t see a printing date. The booklet comes in a cacheted envelope thatshows light soil and wear. The bookletis in excellent condition.
