This auction is for a "The Fisher, Series 80 (80-T) Vacuum Tube AM/FM preamplifier that I've had sitting on a shelf in my dry, heated, shop, unused for probably almost a decade. I've collected countless classic HiFi pieces over the years and recently decided it's time to part with the pieces that I don't see myself making use of moving forward. This piece has been powered up and the bulk, if not all of tubes and display bulbs seem illuminated. ... I have not formally gone through it to verify what operates and what does not. I'm sure this is a serviceable piece, but consider it for parts or restoration. Trolling up and down the dial does seem to cause a fluctuation in the FM Tuning meter, but not so much in the AM. I performed this without any form of antenna on the unit. As noted in the pictures, it is missing a couple knobs, but otherwise in decent cosmetic condition. Should clean up relatively nicely.
