Here we have an original Victorian hall lamp shade.
The shade is cranberry coloured glass, it has fitter-less openings, where a brass rise and fall mechanism would have held it.
Dimensions; The shade measures around 9 1/2" tall, both openings are around 4 1/4", around 8 1/2" wide (diagonally, corner to corner).
Condition; nips and frits to the rough-cut openings, hidden once brass trims are fitted. grit specks and manufacturing flaws.
Overall, a useful shade.
## You are bidding for the glass shade only, (lamps, burners, and chimneys are NOT included) I rested the shade on a Duplex gallery rim to show it illuminated, it does not sit 'in' the gallery! ##
