This unit has new belts and were just replaced prior to posting. NOTE* The unit Powers Up and *******playing in one direction ONLY*******. When played in the fo...rward direction, it spins only one reel and will not lift/engage the tape head up. It will either automatically switch to play on Reverse direction or will just spin one reel and spool the tape. I don't have the technical knowledge to figure out why this is happening since the playback on the other direction is fine. Please consider before purchasing as this is being sold AS IS for PARTS/REPAIR for this reason..Everything else seems to play with all buttons and controls feeling solid and responsive. Has a couple of hairline marks including on top of casing and tiny scuff below output slider.
