1920's AEG Crystal Detector Radio Here's a working crystal radio with earphones, both made in Germany. It's a nice set made in a heavy-duty steel case with a top mounted adjustable detec...tor and glass enclosure. The two front controls work fine, tuning stations by changing coil taps. See the two photos showing the coils inside of cabinet. Overall construction is better than most crystal radios of the period, with it's good two coil electrical design it's selectivity is good and separates stations well. The case has had some black touch-up around the edges, otherwise it shows well. Reception of AM stations will vary with the length and height of the antenna as well as the location of broadcast transmitter. Please email me any questions.
