Project 1-Xpression III manual belt-drive Turntable with Carbon Tonearm and cartridge in excellent, near mint condition. Works great and sounds great. Original owner bought it as part of a hi-fi system and never used it. Stylus protector was still on the cartridge and piano black surface is immaculate. Dust cover is in excellent overall condition with some very minor light scratches here and there. Box and original AC adapter where lost in a move so I bought a replacement adapter and w...ill pack carefully in a heavy duty box with solid foam padding (see pack note below). Likewise, motor transport screws that will be installed are replacements. Downloaded copy of the manual is included. Was $700 when new. Sold as-is, as found with no returns or partial refunds, but guaranteed to be as shown & described. Nice, well reviewed Pro-Ject 1Xpression III audiophile turntable in nice, clean condition. Additional shipping note: If high bidder prefers, instead of having me box & pack this valuable turntable, a factory Xpression box with correct packing can be purchased from Sumiko for $56.50 plus $34 shipping ($89) or a similar sized but different model “Experience” box, which may need some adjustments, can be purchased from a local SF stereo dealer for $50 if you desire a factory correct box be used before shipping out and I will deduct $10 materials cost from your ship total which already includes insurance. Or can drop off at a UPS or FedEx Office store. Let me know before invoice is paid. An updated note on shipping charges.
Recently Fed Ex and the other carriers have dramatically increased costs when factoring even a small amount of dimensional weight (size of the box). What used to ship for weight alone such as a table radio is now several dollars more and a stereo component box now can cost double what it used to. I’m just passing along these increased fees and only seek to cover expenses and not to profit on shipping. > The fine print; Please read so you understand and abide by my terms before placing a bid.
