This Urei 1122 transcription phono preamp came out of the Wisconsin Public Radio studio. If you ever listened to any Classical music program on WPR back when they were spinning vinyl you probably heard this very preamp. I bought it at the University surplus shop nearly 20 years ago.
The preamp has been tested with my trusty Kenwood turntable with Stanton 681EEE cart and it sounds great. As seen in the photos the preamp is unmodified. The faceplate and rear of the preamp look gre...at. The cord is only about 12" long and has a generic grounded AC plug. The case shield has minor scratches as expected for rack mount gear. The rack mount adapter plate has wear around the screw holes and a few other scratches but nothing that a fresh coat of matte black spray paint wouldn't fix.
