You are bidding on a pair of Western Electric type 285 E INPUT transformers. These arevery nice transformers removed from two pieces of Western Electric audio equipment. The specifications are 600 to 25, 000 ohms, with a low side DC resistance of 27 ohms, with inductance of 14 Hy. The high side resistance is 11, 700 ohms, and the frequency range is 35 to 10, 000 cps. The datecode on one is 5V50, and the other 2V68, so one is a little different than the other..., one with rounder corners. They are desirable transformers which are not easy to find. Insize, they measure roughly 3 1/4 inches tall and 1 ¾ inches square, in crosssection. They are cosmetically very nice, and are high quality transformers that should make a great pair for your tubeamplifier. Shipping weight is 3 pounds.
