This auction is for an Antique Very tall Cast Iron Victorian Hat Stand for Millinery Hat Counter Top or floor Display. It is Very Tall extending to 46" tall. It has Japanned Copper Flash finish on it. The joint parts are brass. The stand weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces and measures approximately 28" tall not extended and extends to 46" tall. The base measures approximately 6-3/4" diameter. The hat hook can be moved up and down on the extension. There is another small hook at the top so I supp...ose you could attach two hats. I am not sure what the small hook at the top is for. It has overall a nice antique finish. It has a new felt piece on the bottom I did not remove it to see if this is marked. The bottom has a nice weight so the stand is not tipsy. The stand has some scuffs typical of a piece this old.I show a closeup of the bottom to show the scuffs.
