This lot features a very nice grouping of two items from the family of J.C. Goodwin. Goodwin fought with the 4th Massachusetts Cavalry and was wounded at the Battle of Olustee in Florida where he fought alongside members of the 54th Massachusetts Regiment.
With this lot, the winner will receive Goodwin's Civil War Shield Identification Badge and a CDV of him holding his sword. The item was framed by family members and in the 20+ years that I've owned it, I've... made no attempts to alter it.
