Click images to enlarge Description This is a great 9 nine patch variation patchwork quilt with a multitude of colors and fabrics. Each patch uses the same fabric to form an "H" within the 9 patches. This quilt is circa 1930s, is machine stitched and hand quilted, and is a thin to medium thickness, but more on the side of medium thickness. It measures approximately 65" x 72" and the back is an off white. The border is predominately made of a printed fabric, but there are a few places where the fabric seems to arbitrarily change to solids. This may or may not be due to replacement fabric used to repair worn areas. Either way, this does not detract from the quilt at all, in fact, to me, it just gives it more patchwork character. There is one small black spot (ink?) on the back side edge, and a few light spots on one area of white fabric with red polka dots - see pics. Overall, this quilt is in wonderful used condition with no major issues found.
