vintage tool and case
My father managed a development lab in the 1970s-80s. This comes from a tool box of machinist's tools from that lab. It's been sitting untouched for decades. Time for somebody to put it to use.
NOTE - I should have dusted this piece before taking the pictures. What might look like fine surface corrosion on the tool is actually dust from the felt liner o...f the box. The piece is shiny and clean -- NO CORROSION.
Condition -- It comes in it's original case. I see no wear or damage to the tool. It works very smoothly. Possibly not used much - or used by a technician who treated his/her tools with respect and care. The case shows a little rubbing and wear. In the case is a slot that I assume was for an adjustment wrench or something similar. This piece is missing.
