Stylus A030 – TOP QUALITY SUPERB RARE LATE ROMAN STYLUS, WRITING TOOL with CROSS ONCHAIN+++ Herefor auction is this intact Late Roman Bronze Stylus, writing tool withbeautiful green patina and amazing decoration. Good quality example withexcellent detail and amazing green glossy patina. The Stylus coming with theoriginal holding chain set with Cross dress attaching mount on the end, foundtogether with it. These tools have been used to write on a wax tablet(diptych), with a pointed e...nd for writing and a flattened oval end, used toerase and smooth the wax for re-writing. The piece is as foundin the soil still with the earth deposits remaining on the surface. It makes a Extremely RARE addition to yourcollection and will make a wonderful heirloom.Stylus Size; 140 mm.
