A genuine mechanical clock "ACHS-1" from the USSR. It was made at "Chelyabinsk Watch Factory".
The clock from a cockpit panel is intended for the indication of current time in hours, minutes and also for counting the flight time of the aircraft in hours and minutes. Capacity of the stopwatch scale is 30 minutes. It can be applied in the aviation (was established on small transport planes and helicopters), geophysical equipment and on the objects of... sea technics. The clock consists of the ordinary clock mechanism for showing the current time, of the stop watch mechanism for indicating short time intervals and of stopwatch mechanism. The central seconds hand is the stopwatch hand (it works only when the stopwatch is on). The clock is controlled by two heads. The left (winding) head of red color is intended for winding the clock and moving the hands, starting, stopping and returning the hands of the flight time mechanism to the initial position. The right head (with the pointer) is designed to start and stop the clock, as well as to start, stop and return to the initial position of the stopwatch hands.Technical characteristics:Duration of work hours after full winding: ≥3 days.Accuracy: ± 20 s/day.Operating temperature range: 25±5° С.Power reserve: 5 days.Frequency of winding: once in 2 days.
The clock is in good and working condition. There're some scratches and scuffs on the case, that you can see in the photos. The luminous hands and hour marks are highlighted well.
