Original Description:
Up for sale is the oldest wooden cobbler shoe form we have found to date, we would put it at late 18th to early 19th as it is so primitive and the wood quite old.  We found this at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area.  Please see photos for age losses and use losses but the neatest we have found to date.  Very primitive, very old.  8 5/8" long by 2 5/8" wide.  The squared toe and heel also lead us to believe it is early - possibly for boys shoes back w...hen they were squared with shoe buckles in the 1700s.  Very neat!  Heavy dense wood for its age.
