Up for sale is an antique Civil War Era US Bayonet Complete w/ Scabbard. The bayonet is rusted throughout. I cannot see the US mark on it. The triangular blade measures about 18” long and the overall length is 20.75”. The blade is slightly bent as seen in pictures. The bayonet also seems to be coated with wax if some sort. It smells like a crayon. The scabbard is 18.25” long complete with leather. The leather shows its age. It is dried and the color has faded. See pictures for co...ndition.
