This is for a beautiful old pair of Georgian cut steel scissors from the early 1800s. Both sides of the handle are inset with gold pin detail and the finger loops are finely shaped, a pointer to quality, age and originality, these are really nice well made scissors. They come with their original red leather sheath and the scissors are in nice cosmetic condition, there is some wear on one blade as shown, but they cut to the tips and display beautifully. They measure 30mm (1.25") across ...at the handles and are 85mm (3.5") tall. The leather has surface wear.
