*Up for sale here is a nice looking amber western square amber milk bottle, which served both Marysville and Yuba City, California. This lighter amber quart example is very clean, with slight case wear, and the yellow pyro being excellent. This really does stand out on this handsome looking amber milk bottle f...rom the west. *It reads on the front within a flag banner ~ "BEVENSHIRE" / Dairy / Reg. Cal. / MARYSVILLE / YUBA CITY". The scene on the bottle is nicely detailed. It shows a well dressed French colonial man holding some sort of staff. The pictures tell the best story. On the back of the bottle it reads in the yellow pyro ~ "GLASS / Is Your / Guarantee Of : / Fine Quality / Full Measure / Top Flavor". The base is embossed ~ "20 <0> 53 / Duraglass". Bottle was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company during 1953. This vintage milk bottle measures 8 3/4 inches tall, and 3 1/4 inches square.
