Up for sale is a 1930's Painted Wooden Babies Bath Water Floating Thermometer. Even though the thermometer is not functioning properly, the thermometer rod is somewhat unique because it has a 90 degree bend at the base that allows the red end bulb to be tucked safely into the boards hole. There is a etching at the 70 degree mark on the rod. I like the temperatures of the water printed on the right side: Hot; Warm; Tepid; Tempe and Cool.- This old... children's bath water wooden floating thermometer is in very good cosmetic condition with just a few surface blemished. There is some factory rough wood on the sides that should have been sanded better before it was painted. The dark red in the thermometer goes all the way to the top, even though it should read the 70 degree room temp, so it is not reading the accurate temp any longer.
