Some knife marks inside the bowl, but there are NO chips or cracks visible from the top. There is a bit of a chip on the foot, as indicated with the yellow arrow, but it is essentially hidden when displayed..
The Deer Park Hotel opened 04 July 1873, by t...he Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road (B&O). It attracted wealthy patrons until it was closed in 1929. The main building was razed in 1944 after a fire. Many famous people stayed here, including presidents Ulysses S. Grant, Benjamin Harrison, and Grover Cleveland. Future president William McKinley was also a guest.
This dish could be more than 100 years old! The orange-ish pattern is mostly crisp and clear. The hotel deer logo crisp and clear. The white spots/streaks you might see in the photographs come from the flash.
