A wonderful, quite possibly John C. Virden, lightly used vintage Mid-century flush ceiling light with "antiqued" brass base and clear bubble glass acorn shade. The glass has a bubble design in the form of an acorn shape and features a raised bullseye tip. There is some kind of a small blemish at the tip that may have occurred during manufacture (I can't tell, see photo). The canopy is in excellent condition and houses one incandescent socket that is also in great shape. Maximum wattage... recommendation 60 watts. The wiring is original and seems to be in good vintage condition. Globe measures approximately 5" in diameter and also about 5" when seated in the fitter. The base is 4 3/4" in diameter, is 1 7/8" deep, and has a 3 1/4" fitter. The overall drop of the fixture is approximately 7".
