JAPANESE BANKO WARE 5 FACE TEAPOT c1920-30
A lovely little teapot in very good condition (damage to the lid and a very minor flea bite to the spout) not to bad and does not detract from the teapot which will display well unusual 4 sided teapot shows 4 hand painted faces the lid also hand painted shows a grotesque face with a large nose for a finial bamboo cane handle the teapot measures height to the finial 5.25 inches and handle to spout 5.5 in...ches impressed marks to the base dates to about 1920-30
