Auction is for an antique CROSBY STEAM GAGE & VALVE CO. BRASS TRAIN WHISTLE. It measures approx. 8" in length (bottom rim to top point) and approx. 2 1/2" at widest part. This 3 chime whistle has incised printing "Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co. Boston U.S. Pat. Jan 30 1877". I found this antique steam whistle at an Estate sale. Condition: age/use dents, dings & tarnish, no cracks. I have included many pictures for your review. It displays well and would mak...e a nice addition to a collection!* * * * * * * *
