Antique 1860-1870 M & D COPPER POT with curved side handle - made by:Elie Moneuse & Louis Francois Duparquet, 30, Greene Street, New York. Size: Width of top of pot is 10 1/4". Width including handle is 13 1/2".Height of copper pot is 6 1/4". Height to top of handle is 7". Weighs 3 lbs., 9 oz.The copper cooking pot is dovetailed. Has very nice curved handle, which looks like cast iron, magnet does stick to the handle. Has been in a family collection fo...r about 70 years.Moneuse & Duparquet were coppersmiths in business at 30 Greene Street from 1860's to 1870's. The copper pot has not been polished.
